UF Engineering and Computer Science Transfer Students: We Want to Hear from You!

 Dear UF CISE Students,

My name is Caroline Lubbe, and I am a University of Florida PhD Candidate advised by Dr. Sindia Rivera-Jiménez in the Engineering Communities & Participatory Change (ECoPaC) Research Group.

At ECoPaC, we explore the adjustment experiences of engineering and computer science transfer students at UF, and we are inviting current UF engineering and computer science transfer students to participate in an ongoing research project related to this topic (UF IRB Exempt #ET00047771). Your insights can make a meaningful impact on improving the transfer process for future students. 

How to participate:

1. Complete a short pre-screening survey about your background and experiences at UF: Take the survey
2. Students who complete the survey may be contacted for a follow-up interview.
3. $25 gift card provided for interview participation.

Virginia Tech Survey - $25 gift card

 Hi,

I am a researcher at Virginia Tech running a 90-minute fully online study for novice and intermediate programming students. We are giving all participants a $25 gift card of their choosing for participating, and the only requirement is that you have taken at least one programming course, are over 18, and are still an enrolled undergraduate student (ideally entering your 2nd or 3rd year).
