The Quant Club is a student organization that introduces students to quantitative finance and prepares members for careers in the industry.
This semester, the club plans to launch a quantitative developer program centered on low-level C++ and trading-systems fundamentals, alongside informational GBMs, interview prep, firm events, technical workshops, and fun competitions like our Estimathons and Poker Tournaments.
Our first GBM will be on September 9th at 6:15 PM in CSE E222. We’ll introduce quantitative finance and the different roles within the industry, discuss recruiting and how to get involved, and give an overview of all our exciting plans for the semester.
